This is an abundant world. Abundance naturally flows in and out. It is a process and if you understand it you can allow more opportunities for money to flow in instead of out. When you are holding tightly onto your money watching every penny slip through your fingers you become more and more focused on the lack in your life. You become so focused on keeping what you have left that you cannot see any opportunities that comes your way.
To change this belief you need to open up to the possibility that you can create the money that you want or need. One way to open your thinking is through the 10% rule. Many entrepreneurs suggest the 10% rule as a key component to success. Always commit to giving at least 10% of what you make to charity. The act of donating to something you believe in will not only make you feel better about who you are, but it will also make you feel better about your financial situation. You will see that you are far better off than many people in the world, and you will have a better perspective on your abundance. This little shift can assist you in tweaking your thinking to better appreciate the things that are working for you. You switch from feelings of lack to feelings of abundance.
This will not only make you feel more abundant and make you see the positives in your situation, it will also make you view yourself differently. You will see yourself as a benefactor. You will see yourself as a leader, as someone important, someone who is a force for good in the world. This is what an entrepreneur is. Someone who helps others to find solutions, who offers people the opportunity to improve their lives. They create and contribute to the betterment of everyone (at least the ones who are successful long term do!). This shift to entrepreneurial thinking will help you see opportunities that are coming your way and allow you to be confident and courageous in pursuing them.
Finally, everything you give to the world will return tenfold. Abundance is flowing and allowing it to flow away from you in a helpful way will allow it to return to you multiplied
Now you may look at all this and think, yes I would like to contribute, but I can't afford it. This kind of thinking is poison to you. Do anything you can to remove these thoughts from your mind. Here's how you can afford it:
You have a basic level of income that you need to just get by. You have basic needs: pay to bills, put food on your table, pay mortgage or rent. Everything beyond that is really extra. You wouldn't let yourself fall below this basic level of income as you need food and a home. Now add 10% to your basic level of income.
It's this simple: you must now see this as your basic level of income. This is a new non-negotiable in your life. If you are not meeting your usual basic level of income than your top priority is doing whatever it takes, to create your new basic income level. If you make charity and donation an absolute must in your life you will find a way, and as you open to more opportunities and possibilities for your life you will open up to success. You owe it to yourself and to the world to find your abundance.
